Sometimes I think about being a kid again, and as grown up as I think I am I definitely have the maturity of like a seven year old, but anyway! People say your childhood ends when you know life isn’t permanent, your childhood ends when you know your not invisible and that the human condition is so weak and fragile it would freak you out. I think that the people that make it in life realize that you can push the boundaries in life and still be fragile, while noticing our time on this earth is numbered. On your 19th you are legally aloud to drink, I told my grandfather that I would drink responsibly and in moderation, but in a calm quiet tone he responded with ” life is in moderation”. I think that is when I realized that even though you might be stuck somewhere, life keeps moving, weather it’s with you or leaves you behind, so no matter what you do look forward and keep the past in perspective, because the reason you can look back at all of those things, is because they are behind you. Learn from the past, bet on the future.
